Trevor Dion Nicholas and Dean John-Wilson to perform at WhatsOnStage Awards

Aladdin's Dean John-Wilson and Trevor Dion Nicholas will perform at the 17th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards.

John-Wilson, who plays the title character, and Nicholas, who plays the Genie, will perform "Somebody's Got Your Back" at the concert which takes place at Prince of Wales Theatre on 19 February.

Aladdin opened at the Prince Edward Theatre last June, with WhatsOnStage critic Sarah Crompton saying Dion-Nicholas "flings everything into making sure everyone has a brilliant time".

The pair join the previously announced Gary Barlow, Amber Riley and Liisi LaFontaine, Ria Jones, Tyrone Huntley and the cast of School of Rock.

Aladdin has seven nominations at this year's awards, including Best New Musical, Nicholas for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical and Casey Nicholaw for Best Direction and Best Choreography.
