It’s time for musicals week on Strictly Come Dancing!

The quarter-final marks the final themed week of the series, with the remaining couples performing routines set to numbers from stage productions.

We recently featured the musical numbers we’d love to see danced to in the competition!

Currently remaining in the competition are Karen Carney and Carlos Gu, George Clarke and Alexis Warr, Lewis Cope and Katya Jones, Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin, Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon.

Airing across 6 and 7 December 2026, there will also be a performance from previous Strictly contestant, Tom Fletcher, who will return to the ballroom to perform a song from the new musical version of Paddington, with the character also set to feature.

The couples will then face a new competitive element, billed as a high-stakes dance challenge. Their results will be reflected in the judges’ scores ahead of the public vote.

The following night’s results show continues the theme, with the professional dancers opening the results show with a number set to music from Chicago. Cast members from Titanique will also appear during the broadcast.

You can see the numbers being performed below:

– Lewis and Katya will perform a salsa to “Dance At The Gym” from West Side Story
– Amber and Nikita will perform a Charleston to “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat” from Guys and Dolls
– George and Alexis will perform an Argentine Tango to “The Point of No Return” from The Phantom of the Opera
– Balvinder and Julian will perform a Viennese Waltz to “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman
– Karen and Carlos will perform a Samba to “The Rhythm of Life” from Sweet Charity
