Richard Bean’s new play about snooker will run for a further two weeks
Sheffield Theatres have announced that the world premiere of Richard Bean's new comedy The Nap will play until April 2.
Richard Wilson directs the play, which is about a vegetarian Sheffield snooker player called Dylan, performed by Jack O'Connell. It runs at the Sheffield Crucible, which is the current home of World Snooker.
O'Connell's co-stars are Mark Addy, John Astley, Chris Brailsford, Esther Coles, Dermot Crowley, Louise Gold,
Youssef Kerkour, Ralf Little and Rochenda Sandall. Astley is a professional snooker player.
The play opens on March 10, with a press night on March 15.
The Nap runs at Sheffield Crucible from March 15 to April 2.
