Rachel Zegler has been presented with her first Olivier Award!

The annual theatre celebration took place tonight, 12 April, at the Royal Albert Hall.

Zegler won for her West End debut playing Eva Peron in a revival of Evita at The London Palladium. Earlier this year, she won two WhatsOnStage Awards. She recently returned to the venue to star in an anniversary concert production of Jason Robert Brown’s The Last Five Years opposite Ben Platt.

Jamie Lloyd’s revival of the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical about the Argentine first lady played last summer.

Diego Andres Rodriguez also made his West End debut as Che and was nominated for his lead performance.

The show’s other three nominations were for Best Musical Revival and Jon Clark’s lighting. Fabian Aloise won Best Choreography.
