With new music from Stiles and Drewe, the production stars Charlie Stemp and Devon-Elise Johnson
Production images have been released for Half a Sixpence which opens at Chichester Festival Theatre this week.
Charlie Stemp and Devon-Elise Johnson star as Arthur Kipps and Ann Pornick, alongside Ian Bartholemew, Emma Williams and Vivien Parry.
The new version of the musical features new music and lyrics from George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, as well as original music by Beverley Cross and David Heneker.
With a new book by Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey), Half A Sixpence is based on the novel by HG Wells. The story follows Kipps, an orphan at the turn of the last century who unexpectedly inherits a fortune that suddenly makes him acceptable to high society.
Half a Sixpence runs at Chichester Festival Theatre until 3 September.
