Ticket holders have been contacted

The Peacock Theatre will close temporarily for essential building works, with performances suspended during the period of repairs.
The venue’s scheduled run of I’m Every Woman – The Chaka Khan Musical will no longer take place at the theatre as planned.
Operator Sadler’s Wells said it had been informed by its landlord, the London School of Economics, that the theatre must close in order for the works to be carried out. The nature or extent of the works has not been disclosed.
Ticket holders for affected performances will be contacted by the box office with details about refunds and rebooking options.
Alistair Spalding, artistic director and chief executive of Sadler’s Wells, said: “Regrettably, Sadler’s Wells has been notified by its landlord, the LSE, that the Peacock Theatre must close temporarily for unexpected essential building works and therefore the show cannot open as planned.
“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by these necessary repairs.”
The engagement of I’m Every Woman – The Chaka Khan Musical will instead take place at the Hackney Empire from 20 to 25 March before continuing its tour.
A reopening date is to be revealed.
