Oliver! West End cast to perform on Britain’s Got Talent

The cast of Oliver! will perform on Britain’s Got Talent.

Currently playing in London, the new revival won Best Regional Production at the WhatsOnStage Awards for its initial run in Chichester.

Adapted from Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist by Lionel Bart, Oliver! follows an orphaned boy of the same name as he escapes the confines of the workhouse and finds refuge in the city’s underworld. Tunes include “Food Glorious Food”, “Consider Yourself”, ”You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two”, and “As Long As He Needs Me.”

This Sunday, they’re taking to ITV Studios and performing live at the talent show’s semi-finals.

It has not been confirmed which cast members or numbers will be performed, but a promotional image included Olivier Award nominee Simon Lipkin, who plays Fagin, with a young performer in the title role – it’ll surely leave you wanting more!

You can tune in on 18 May from 7pm, where the cast of The Greatest Showman circus show Come Alive! will also be opening the show.
