Amber Riley will perform for the final time in the West End production of Dreamgirls on 18 November, as the new Effies for the show have been announced.

Marisha Wallace, Moya Angela, and Karen Mav will now tackle the role, with performances beginning from 20 November. Crossing the pond for the production, Angela played the role during its North American revival tour. Wallace joined the show earlier this year, while Mav made her professional debut as the character in London last year.

Riley made her West End debut in the role of Effie back when the show first opened in December last year.

The show has also extended its booking through to June 2, 2018, at the Savoy Theatre, with tickets on sale for the further dates.

Dreamgirls charts the story of a female singing trio from Chicago called The Dreams in the 60s and 70s.

Our review of the show when it debuted last year said it was 'a joy-filled corrective, full of panache and passion'.

Dreamgirls is booking at the Savoy until 2 June 2018.
