Bat Out of Hell and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies will both be shown in UK cinemas this autumn as part of new event cinema releases.
Bat Out of Hell: The Musical, featuring the recent London cast, will be screened from Thursday 30 October to coincide with Halloween. The musical includes “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That)”, “Paradise by the Dashboard Light”, “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad”, “Dead Ringer for Love” and “Bat Out of Hell”.
Set in the city of Obsidian, the story follows Strat and Raven against a backdrop of rock music, a live band and large-scale staging. Tickets and screening details are available now at batoutofhellincinemas.com (the website is expected to launch today).
Love Never Dies, the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, will be shown from Sunday 21 September at more than 450 cinemas across the UK and Ireland. The 2012 production stars Ben Lewis as The Phantom and Anna O’Byrne as Christine Daaé.
The story continues in Coney Island a decade after the original, with new songs including “’Til I Hear You Sing” and the title track. Tickets go on sale from Thursday 24 July.
