Five budding theatre professionals have been given a chance to work on hit musical ”Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”
From a shortlist of 600 budding theatre professionals, five have been chosen to take part in a week long paid placement at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, backstage on the hit musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
At the end of the week, the most promising candidate will be rewarded with a three-month paid placement as production intern on the show.
We met with Kayleigh Chapman, Jenny Milner, Lois Taviner, Erin Rankin and Ruth Blakey to find out what it means to them to be given such an opportunity.
The 'Golden Ticket' placements are part of Warner Bros. Creative Talent, a new programme of investment in skills and training for the UK creative industries.
