The Alligator Club take over the Liverpool Playhouse Studio next week with a late night alternative Christmas show on 21 & 22 December.

You are invited to join a travelling band of misfits and wasters as they escape a bleak mid-winter night by breaking into the Playhouse Studio to entertain you with twisted tales of Christmas time and beg or borrow a penny or two from their unsuspecting audience.

The show, produced by playwrights Andrew Ness, Kellie Smith, Anne Irvine and also featuresaward winning playwright Laurence Wilson – best known for Blackberry Trout Face (which won Best New Play for Young People, Brian Way Award, 2010).

The show is directed by John Ward – the Artistic Director of DumbWise – an actor- musician led theatre company and tickets are sold out – although anyone wishing to attend can ring the Playhouse to enquire about returns.
