Lara Pulver and Peter Davison will join Imelda Staunton in the West End transfer of Gypsy, which opens at the Savoy Theatre on 28 March 2015.

Lara Pulver will reprise the role of Louise in Jonathan Kent's WhatsOnStage Award-nominated production, which had a successful run in Chichester last year. Pulver has theatre credits including Parade, Honk!, The Last Five Years and Into the Woods.

Peter Davison joins the cast as Herbie, taking over from Kevin Whately. The former Doctor Who has stage credits including Legally Blonde and Spamalot, and on TV has starred in All Creatures Great and Small and The Last Detective.

Further casting for the production, which is currently booking to 18 July 2015, will be announced soon.

Gypsy has music and lyrics by Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim, and a book by Arthur Laurents, and features songs including "Some People", "Everything's Coming Up Roses" and "Rose's Turn".
