The show runs in September in west London
Jason Robert Brown will return to London to conduct Songs for a New World for its 30th anniversary concert.
First performed in 1995, Songs for a New World marked Brown’s debut as a composer and lyricist and explores moments of decision and change through a song cycle performed by a range of characters. It was originally produced Off-Broadway at the WPA Theatre, before a UK premiere at the Bridewell Theatre in 2001. It was revived for two special concerts at The London Palladium in the autumn of 2020.
The concert will take place at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith on Sunday 21 September 2025.
Cast-wise, it will feature four Broadway legends: Shoshana Bean, Tituss Burgess, Jordan Fisher and Joy Woods.
The anniversary concert is produced by Lambert Jackson and Positive Sum and will be staged for two performances at 3pm and 7.30pm.
