The composer of ”Big Fish” is giving a concert in November featuring a range of West End performers
West End actresses Jenna Russell, Willemijn Verkaik and Carrie Hope Fletcher will appear alongside American composer and lyricist Andrew Lippa in his debut London concert at the St James Theatre next month.
Lippa will exclusively preview music from his latest Broadway show Big Fish, based on the Tim Burton film, during the concert on 17 November.
It will also feature music from The Wild Party and The Addams Family, as well as his lesser known works and a selection of ‘lost’ material.
Jenna Russell won acclaim for her performance as Dot/Marie in Sunday in the Park with George, in both the West End and on Broadway, and recently finished playing Mary in that WhatsOnStage Award-winning Merrily We Roll Along at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
Dutch actress Willemijn Verkaik opens in the West End production of Wicked as Elphaba later this year having played the character over 1,000 times internationally.
Carrie Hope Fletcher is currently making her West End debut playing the role of Eponine in Les Misérables at The Queen's Theatre, having played Young Eponine as a child (read our recent interview).
