Marc Pickering will lead the cast of the revival at Wilton’s Music Hall
The Pulitzer Prize-winning musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is to receive its first London revival in 50 years at Wilton's Music Hall in April.
Marc Pickering will lead the cast as J Pierrepont Finch, alongside Hannah Grover, Lizzii Hills and Geri Allen. Further casting is to be announced.
The production will be directed by Benji Sperring, who worked with Pickering, Grover and Hills on Toxic Avenger at Southwark Playhouse last year.
An alumnus of the National Youth Music Theatre, Pickering's other theatre credits include The Stripper at the St James Studio and Wizard of Oz at the Royal & Derngate. He also played Montparnasse in Tom Hooper's film adaptation of Les Miserables.
Grover's theatre credits include leading the UK tours of Ghost and Evita, while Hills' West End credits include Chicago and The Ratpack.
With music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, and a book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying premiered on Broadway in 1961, and tells the story of a man who climbs the ranks of a New York company thanks to a self-help book.
It was revived on Broadway in 2011 starring Daniel Radcliffe, and features the songs "I Believe In You", "Brotherhood of Man" and "Happy To Keep His Dinner Warm".
