Indira Varma leads cast of Hampstead's Tiger Country

Nina Raine’s NHS play opens on the Main Stage in December

Indira Varma will lead the cast of Nina Raine's Tiger Country at the Hampstead Theatre, which opens on the Main Stage on 8 December 2014.

The play, which centres around a busy London hospital, also features Ruth Everett, Souad Faress, Jenny Galloway, Nick Hendrix, Maxwell Hutcheon, Tricia Kelly, Alastair MacKenzie, Wunmi Mosaku, Shaun Parkes and Luke Thompson in the cast.

Indira Varma is known for TV roles including Game of Thrones, Rome and Luther. Her previous theatre credits include Titus Andronicus (Shakespeare’s Globe), The Hothouse (Trafalgar Studios), and Dance of Death and Twelfth Night (Donmar Warehouse).

Nina Raine also directs the production, which runs at Hampstead Theatre from 8 December to 17 January 2015. It features design by Lizzie Clachan, with lighting by Neil Austin, sound by Fergus O'Hare, video by Dick Straker and choreography by Leon Baugh.
