Joey Contreras’ musical In Pieces is being presented for three performances at the The Other Palace tonight, Monday 30 March, and tomorrow Tuesday 31 March.

Produced by Andrew Patino of Regular People, the new musical is directed by Martha Geelan with musical direction by Brian Russell Carey.

The cast is led by Antonio Cipriano, who will play Peter. Cipriano is best known for originating the role of Phoenix in Jagged Little Pill on Broadway, and has appeared on screen in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin and the upcoming Off-Campus.

Joining him is Ailsa Davidson as Sam, Ryan Kopel as Charlie, Alex James-Hatton as Grey, Emilie Louise Israel as River, Romona Lewis-Malley as Alex with Sarah Freer and Jacob Atkins.

The concert marks the next stage in development for the musical, following multiple sold-out performances, including appearances at New York City’s Joe’s Pub, as well as a digital live-capture release and a deluxe highlights album released by Broadway Records.

Described as a love story about the people you don’t end up with, In Pieces follows the romantic journeys of six characters across three chapters of their lives. You can listen to “That’s What I’m Good At” below:

The concert is presented by Regular People alongside Arielle Smith, Sandie Browne, Ken Davenport and Brianna DaVault, with orchestrations by Contreras and Carey.
