Full cast announced for The Glenn Miller Story

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming UK tour of The Glenn Miller Story, which opens at the New Wimbledon Theatre later this month.

Joining the previously announced Tommy Steele will be Ashley Knight (I Can't Sing, High Society) as Chummy MacGregor and Sarah Soetaert (The Sound of Music, Chicago) as Helen Burger.

The cast will be completed by Jon Bonner, Mike Lloyd, Kieran Kuypers, Tim Maxwell-Clarke, Jessica Ellen, Zoe Nicole Adkin, Siobhan Diffin, Nathan Elwick, Alex Tranter and Jordan Oliver.

The show is directed by Steele's long-term collaborator Bill Kenwright alongside Bob Tomson, with choreography by Bill Deamer.

According to press material, "Featuring a spectacular 16 piece orchestra plus sensational performers and dazzling choreography, the story of one of the most iconic musical figures of the 20th century will be told as never before."

The show will visit Wimbledon, Southampton, Glasgow, Newcastle, Stoke-On-Trent, Blackpool, Swansea, Wolverhampton, Milton Keynes, Manchester and Cardiff.
