Birmingham’s festival of international performance will return this year, featuring several UK premieres
Birmingham's international Fierce Festival returns this Autumn, running from the 2 to 12 October 2014.
This year's line-up features several UK premieres, including Forced Entertainment's The Last Adventures led by artistic director Tim Etchells and guests in a collaboration with Lebanese sound artist Tarek Atoui.
Also premiering is choreographer Miguel Gutierrez's Heavens What Have I Done at the Dance Xchange, which will also host the UK premiere of Dana Michel's Yellow Towel, a "ritual dance performance" revisiting Michel's childhood.
The final UK at the festival, which takes place at a range of venues across Birmingham and the West Midlands, is Tania el Khoury's Gardens Speak, an interactive sound installation.
Other categories at this year's festival include 'Activating Unusual Spaces Across the City', 'Body Politics' and 'Social Interventions in Birmingham', a collection of performances that focus on working with youth, celebrating Birmingham's status as the UK's youngest city.
Both multi-show passes and individual show tickets are available.
