Underbelly Boulevard Soho has just announced their summer season. Here’s five reasons why you should book your tickets today:

1. There’s an exciting programme of new and familiar faces

A venue specialising in platforming the hottest theatre, comedy, variety and cabaret around, Underbelly Boulevard Soho’s programme for the summer season remains as diverse (and exciting!) as ever.

From high-octave musical experiences to cutting-edge comedy, a range of new and familiar faces will grace the stage, including Tony Award-winner, five-time Tony Award-nominee and highly celebrated stage and screen actress Laura Benanti, magician James Phelan, actress and rising West End star Georgina Castle and comedy actress, singer and impressionist Jess Robinson.

2. The music is always playing

Whether your playlists are packed with musicals or the latest chart-toppers, Underbelly Boulevard Soho is the perfect place to spend a tune-filled evening. Laura Benanti headlines the season, bringing her “innate stage smarts and robust sense of comedy” (New York Stage Review) to Soho with her one-woman comedy show Nobody Cares (14 to 26 July) – a love letter to recovering ingenues, mothers, and anybody working on themselves, blending side-splitting storytelling with original songs.

Love musical theatre? Due to exceptional demand, WhatsOnStage Award-winner Amber Davies’ chart-topping podcast Call to Stage will bring a new live concert series Call To Stage LIVE to the venue, kicking off their Soho residency on 29 May with Georgina Castle.

Splash-hit musical Shantify will drop their anchor in Soho for a two-week run (2 to 14 June), before passing the baton to Jess Robinson for Elton Reimagined (1 to 5 July) for an evening of music that celebrates Elton John through the voices of iconic women.

Frisky’s Remix Roulette (28 to 30 July) will put audiences in charge of the evening’s sound. Not sure what to expect? Previous shows featured heavy-metal Madonna, opera, WAP, and DnB Candle in the Wind – so don’t be afraid to get creative!

As if that wasn’t enough to get stuck in to – Underbelly Boulevard Soho host an ongoing programme of free gigs in their Bar, including a night of bops, bangers and bathroom belters (check out Bar Icons), Latin-ified classics (La Bandita is one for you!), and a brand-new open mic night (Bar Jams).

3. There’s something for everyone to enjoy

Prepare to be dazzled by James Phelan: SHOWMAN (16 to 28 June). Most infamous for jamming the BBC switchboard after correctly predicting the lottery, James Phelan brings his show to London for a strictly limited run, featuring brand-new material for summer 2026. Unmatched, unmissable and unforgettable, this dazzling, five-star-rated show will leave you aching with laughter and dizzy with disbelief!

4. Stories that matter

Looking for a more traditional evening at the theatre? The Ghost of White Hart Lane (31 July to 2 August) tells the true story of Spurs and Scotland football star John White, who died aged just 27 when he was struck by lightning. Following sell-out shows at Edinburgh Fringe, Jackson Lane, Highgate and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the play is based on the Sunday Times bestseller of the same name.

5. The bar is the perfect space to hang out – day or night

More than just a pitstop before seeing a show, Underbelly Boulevard Soho’s bar is a destination in its own right. Whether you’re looking for a delicious iced coffee, a glass of red or a themed cocktail, there’s something on the menu for you to enjoy. In addition to this, free events are held in the bar on a weekly basis, spanning music, burlesque and more.

Tickets for Underbelly Boulevard Soho’s summer season are on sale now.
