Images have been released offering a first look at the cast of Edward Albee's black comedy, The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? in rehearsals.

Damian Lewis (Homeland) and Sophie Okonedo (The Hollow Crown) star in Ian Rickson's production which opens at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in April.

Albee's play is about a father who falls in love with a goat and won the Tony Award for Best New Play when it premiered on Broadway in 2002. One of the playwright's best known works, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, is also currently being revived at the Harold Pinter Theatre starring Imelda Staunton.

The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? opens at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 5 April 2017, with previews from 24 March 2017.
