Images have been released for the stage adaptation of Emma Donoghue's best-selling novel Room at Theatre Royal Stratford East.

Room is about Ma, who was kidnapped and locked inside a room for seven years, and her five-year-old son Jack who has no concept of the outside world. Ma uses games to develop her son's imagination in the room where his only friends are Rug, Lamp and TV.

The production stars Witney White as Ma, with Liam McKenna, Lucy Tregear, Stephen Casey and Fela Lufadeju.

The story was adapted into a film in 2015 starring Brie Larson, who went on to win an Oscar for Best Actress for the role.

Roomruns at Theatre Royal Stratford East from 10 May to 3 June, with previews from now.
