Don Black will return to the West End later this year with a new revue and casting has been confirmed.

From The Heart will see the multi-award-winning lyricist celebrate his lifelong love of cabaret and the New York cabaret scene.

The Oscar winner has created classics including “Diamonds are Forever”, “Born Free”, “Sunset Boulevard”, and “Aspects of Love” across his fifty-year career.

This new show will feature music from some of his most celebrated collaborators, including Gary Barlow, Natasha Bedingfield, David Arnold, Alan Menken, Mike Batt, and more.

Already revealed, performing the numbers will be Sydnie Christmas, Preeya Kalidas and Clive Rowe. They’ll be joined by Caroline O’Connor and David Thaxton. Further guests are to be announced on the night.

Nick Winston will direct, with musical direction and arrangements by Nick Barstow.

From The Heart will play at the West End’s Fortune Theatre on Sunday, 26 October, and Sunday, 2 November. An additional matinee performance has been added for 2 November.
