Denise Van Outen's one-woman show Some Girl I Used to Know will transfer to the Arts Theatre for a three-week run this Summer following a UK tour.

Billed as a 'play with music', Van Outen has co-written the show with singer/songwriter Terry Ronald, and it centres on a media darling who has memories of a past lover brought back to her by a Facebook poke.

It features songs from the '80s and '90s alongside new material including the title song, and will run at the Arts Theatre from 22 August to 13 September 2014.

Denise Van Outen's West End credits include Tell Me on a Sunday, Chicago, Rent: Remixed and Legally Blonde. Her television roles include Hotel Babylon, Babes in the Wood and Where the Heart Is.

Some Girl I Used to Know is directed by Michael Howcroft and designed by Morgan Large, with lighting by Joshua Carr and sound by David Gregory.

Speaking on ITV's This Morning earlier today, Van Outen also revealed that she is planning a show with former Strictly Come Dancing pals Kimberley Walsh and Kara Tointon, who are themselves no strangers to the stage. She promised viewers that the production would happen in Spring 2015.
