The Aberdeen Arts Centre’s production opens in February

With music and lyrics from Stephen Sondheim and a book by George Furth, the musical sees 35 year-old bachelor Bobby navigate a cavalcade of dysfunctional friends and amorous trysts. The show was nominated for 14 Tony Awards when it opened on Broadway, winning six.
The production is directed by Aberdeen-born director Derek Anderson, with the rest of the cast including Ashleigh Gray, Arun Blair-Mangat, Kimberly Blake, Stephen John Davis, Wayne Fitzsimmons, Jennifer Harding, Jacqueline Hughes, Suzie Mathers, Lisa-Anne Wood, Barnaby Thompson and Alex Wadham.
Marianne Elliott is directing a production of the same musical later this year in the West End, which stars Rosalie Craig as a gender-swapped Bobby.
Company runs at Aberdeen Arts Centre from 1 to 10 February.
