Kilworth House Theatre has announced the full cast for its 2025 production of 42nd Street, which will be staged in its outdoor woodland theatre. The show follows the venue’s previous summer musicals Hairspray and Singin’ in the Rain, with Lee Proud returning as director and choreographer.

42nd Street follows the lives of performers as they struggle to make their names on Broadway. The piece has a book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, music from Harry Warren and lyrics from Al Dubin and is an adaptation of the 1932 novel and the 1933 film.

WhatsOnStage Award nominee Mia Kobayashi will play Peggy Sawyer, with Lewis Griffiths as Julian Marsh and Michelle Bishop as Dorothy Brock. Brian O’Muiri takes on the role of Billy Lawlor, Rosie Strobel plays Maggie Jones, and TJ Lloyd appears as Bert Barry. Pete Gallagher joins as Abner Dillon, and Tim Rogers plays Pat Denning and understudies Julian.

The female ensemble includes Katharine Pearson as Anytime Annie, Issie Wilman, Tia Gyngell, Esme Kennedy, Imogen Bailey, Danielle Huntley, and Dammi Aregbeshola. The male ensemble features Cris Penfold as Andy Lee, with Bradley Trevethan, Chris Gray, Benjamin Drew, Joseph Bristow, Theo Uk Rose, and Mark Austin.

The creative team includes musical supervision and direction by Rick Coates, set and costume design by Phillip Witcomb, lighting design by Jason Taylor, and sound design by Chris Whybrow. Charlotte Gale serves as associate choreographer, and casting is by Sarah Goggin.
