The collaboration between the Children’s Touring Partnership and Chichester Festival Theatre opens in Chichester on 19 February
Full casting has been announced for the upcoming UK tour of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, which opens at Chichester Festival Theatre on 19 February.
The cast features Jabez Cheeseman, Cameron Duncan and Finlay Wright-Stephens as Bruno and Tom Hibberd, Colby Mulgrew and Samuel Peterson as Shmuel, two boys who form an unlikely friendship during World War II.
The rest of the cast comprises Helen Anderson as Grandmother, Lisa Baird as Ensemble, Eva Bell as Eva, Andrew Bone as Herr Liszt, Ed Brody as Kotler/Soldier, Phil Cheadle as Father, Kit Lessner as Soldier, Marianne Oldham as Mother, Robert Styles as Pavel, Eleanor Thorn as Gretel and Rosie Wyatt as Maria.
Adapted from John Boyne's best-selling novel, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is produced by the Children's Touring Partnership and adapted for the stage by Angus Jackson, with direction from Joe Murphy.
It runs at Chichester Festival Theatre from 19-28 February, before touring to Northampton (3-7 March), Malvern (10-14 March), Nottingham (17-21 March), Canterbury (25-28 March), Liverpool (30 March-4 April), Salford (15-18 April), High Wycombe (21-25 April), Kingston (28 April-2 May), Norwich (5-9 May), Plymouth (11-16 May), Newcastle (19-23 May), Blackpool (2-6 June), Wolverhampton (9-13 June), Coventry (16-20 June) and Cambridge (23-27 June).
