Multi-award-winning actor Brian Cox has postponed the tour of his first-ever one-man show.

The show, entitled It’s All About Me!, had planned to visit 18 venues this autumn.

Its premise would have seen Cox tell stories from his life and career “from the backstreets of Dundee to the glittering lights of Hollywood” in act one, while act two was to be a Q&A format.

Explaining the decision, the actor told BBC Newscast that he was “tired” after the amount of work he had done this year.

In a statement, he said: “I just thought, ‘I’ll do it sometime’, (October is) just too soon. It’s been very busy and I just thought, ‘I can’t be doing it.'”

The Scottish actor recently concluded a run in his home country for the first time in a decade in Make It Happen, a play part of the Edinburgh International Festival.

Rescheduled dates for It’s All About Me! have yet to be announced; however, the tour’s official website tells visitors to “check back for 2026 dates.”
