Al Pacino Brings King Lear to Big Screen???

Al Pacino is set to become the latest acting heavyweight to tackle King Lear, in a big screen adaptation that will be directed by Michael Radford. Radford, who worked with Pacino on his last Shakespeare movie, The Merchant of Venice, revealed to Screen Daily recently his excitement about working again with his favourite actor again:  “Lear is tailor-made for Al Pacino. Who wouldn’t want to see one of the world’s greatest movie actors in one of the greatest roles ever written?”
