”Big Night of Musicals 2023” – watch our preview of the BBC broadcast

This weekend will mark the BBC broadcast of Big Night of Musicals 2023, airing on Saturday 25 March from 7:50pm on BBC One. There will also be a BBC Radio 2 show, hosted by Samantha Barks and Layton Williams, on Sunday 26 March from 8pm.
But if you’re keen to whet your appetites for the huge arena event, which was recorded at Manchester’s AO Arena last month, we were on hand at the venue to chat to a star-studded line-up of stagey performers ahead of the show.

West End and touring productions represented in the show include Hamilton, The King and I, Aspects of Love, Matilda The Musical, We Will Rock You, Disney’s Newsies, Six, Ain’t Too Proud, Shrek The Musical, Mamma Mia!, Les Misérables, The Bodyguard, and Wicked.
