'You can't guess what will happen' – the cast and crew on Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution

Agatha Christie’s play comes to London County Hall in a new immersive production

How do you stage a murder? We chatted to cast members David Yelland (The Crown), Catherine Steadman (Downton Abbey, Oppenheimer) and director Lucy Bailey (Titus Andronicus, Globe) about their new site specific show, Witness for the Prosecution.

The show also stars Jack McMullen, Philip Franks, Patrick Godfrey and Roger Ringrose.

Witness for the Prosecution sees Leonard Vole accused of murdering a widow to inherit her wealth. In her autobiography, Christie said it was "one of my plays that I like best myself."

The production will take place in a courtroom setting and has designs by William Dudley, lighting by Chris Davey and sound by Mic Pool.

Witness for the Prosecution runs at County Hall to 11 March, with previews from 6 October.
