First look at Andrew Flintoff and cast performing in Fat Friends the Musical
Production images have been released showing Andrew Flintoff and the cast of Fat Friends.
Kay Mellor's show, which began its run at the Leeds Grand on 7 November, is based on the small screen series which ran from 2000 to 2005. It will visit venues across the UK for the remainder of 2017 and into summer 2018.
The show's cast, alongside Flintoff, includes Jodie Prenger, Natasha Hamilton, Natalie Anderson, Sam Bailey, Elaine C Smith and Keven Kennedy. Rachael Wooding, Jonathan Halliwell, Chloe Hart and Joel Montague also star, with Craig Armstrong, Lizzie Bea, Paul Brangan, Emma Crossley, Neil Hurst, Ellie Leah, Laura Mansell and Ryan Pidgen completing the cast.
The show marks Flintoff's stage debut, and is written and directed by BAFTA-winner Mellor, with original music from Nicholas Lloyd Webber.
Fat Friends runs at Leeds Grand from 7 November to 2 December and then tours to Bromley, Newcastle, Hull, Southampton, Sheffield, Southend, Milton Keynes, Norwich, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham, Dartford, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Glasgow, Belfast, Bradford, Aberdeen and Blackpool.
