The London Palladium have announced they will stage a pantomime in 2017, following the run of Cinderella this year.

Dick Whittington will run at the theatre from 9 December.

Panto returned to the stage at the Palladium this Christmas, after a 29-year absence, with a new production of Cinderella.

The current panto stars Amanda Holden, Julian Clary and Lee Mead, and WhatsOnStage said it 'bodes well for the future life of panto in the West End'.
