Exclusive: First look at new Kinky Boots cast in rehearsals

Images have been released showing the new cast of Kinky Boots in rehearsals ahead of opening in the West End production this evening (Monday 15).

David Hunter (Once) takes over from Killian Donnelly in the role of Charlie Price, while Elena Skye makes her professional West End debut replacing Amy Lennox as Lauren.

Further additions to the cast include Alan Mehdizadeh (Billy Elliot) as Don and Cordelia Farnworth (Sunset Boulevard) as Nicola.

They will be joined by James Ballanger, Jemal Felix, George Grayson, Melissa Jacques, Charlotte Jeffery, Suzie McAdam, Jane Milligan, Robin Mills, Jon Reynolds, Simon-Anthony Rhoden, Ben Sell, Craig Thomas and Jason Winter.

Olivier Award-winner Matt Henry will continue in the role of Lola, other continuing cast members include Michael Hobbs (George), Paul Ayres, Emma Crossley, Robert Grose, Chlöe Hart, Robert Jones, Adam Lake, Catherine Millsom, Sean Needham, Dominic Tribuzio, Alan Vicary and Michael Vinsen.

The musical is an adaptation of the British film of the same name which follows a Northampton shoemaker who re-invents his business by creating shoes for drag queens.

Kinky Boots is currently booking at the Adelphi Theatre until 14 January 2017.
