We caught up with Mark Williams and the cast of Doctor Dolittle to get a sneak peek at rehearsals.
Marking the 50th anniversary of the original film, Leslie Bricusse's musical embarks on a UK and Ireland tour beginning at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley next week.
Williams stars in the title role alongside a cast that also features Vicky Entwistle as his sidekick parrott Polynesia. Further casting includes Bryan Capron, Mollie Melia-Redgrave, Patrick Sullivan and Adele Anderson.
The piece features a huge array of puppetry from the same studios that created War Horse and tells the story of an eccentric Doctor who can talk to animals and his quest to find the Giant Pink Sea Snail.
