Christmas is coming… Oh, yes, it is! We officially declare the countdown to Christmas 2013 has begun with the launch today of the brand-new WhatsOnStage Panto Guide (www.whatsonstage.com/panto), sponsored by First Family Entertainment.

Pantomime is the very best of British theatrical and festive tradition; here at WhatsOnStage, we love it – and we know you do, too. So please bookmark the page as your key portal for: nationwide pantomime listings, news, reviews and features, as well as other great festive treats for the family.

In the WhatsOnStage database, there are currently more than 300 pantomimes and other Christmas shows listed at venues across the country, so there’s plenty to choose from wherever you live – including ten, star-studded First Family productions.

To celebrate the launch of the WhatsOnStage Panto Guide, we've teamed up with First Family for a “Great British Panto Giveaway”. We’re giving away 100 pairs of pantomime tickets! Competition entrants can choose to see any one of ten different First Family productions in this Christmas’ season, mounted at some of the country’s biggest theatres, in Aylesbury, Bristol, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Stoke on Trent, Woking and London’s Richmond and New Wimbledon theatres.

There’s a choice of two productions of Cinderella (either at Bristol starring Louie Spence, or in Woking with Zoe Salmon), Aladdin (starring Scottish comedienne Karen Dunbar in Glasgow, or Matthew Kelly and Jo Brand, in her pantomime debut, at New Wimbledon), Snow White (with Warwick Davis in Milton Keynes or Jonathan Wilkes in Stoke) and Peter Pan (with Ray Quinn in Liverpool or Henry ‘The Fonz’ Winkler in Richmond), as well as Sleeping Beauty (starring Anita Dobson in Aylesbury) and Dick Whittington (with Jodie Prenger alongside Britain’s Got Talent winners Ashleigh and Pudsey in Manchester).

Competition ends 30 November. To enter now, click here.
