According to the London Metro, Hollywood superstar George Clooney is keen to follow in the footsteps of fellow film actors Nicole Kidman, Josh Hartnett and Christian Slater by starring in a West End show.
Speaking to Metro correspondent Neil Sean, the Ocean’s 11 star said: “It would be swell (to do a show in the West End), but no one has actually offered me one”.
Surely it won’t be long until the offers come in though – Clooney is one of the Hollywood’s most bankable stars, and the thought of him on a West End stage must be enough get most producers (and Clooney fans) drooling.
The actor was in town recently for the London film festival, where he is premiering two films – Fantastic Mr Fox and The Men Who Stare at Goats.
