The Venue in Leicester Square - which has been largely dark since the April closure of Round the Horne - could soon reopen with the transfer of acclaimed Edinburgh sell-out Come Again. The show, written by Stage journalists Nick Awde and Chris Bartlett, celebrates another British comedy legend, the partnership of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. In fact, it’s subtitled “The World of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore” and billed as a “darkly humorous exploration” of the late duo’s rise and fall, as told through the eyes of the diminutive Moore . If not at The Venue this autumn, look out for the show at Trafalgar Studios or another similarly sized (ie intimate) central London venue next spring.
