May to Rock Edinburgh for CharityDate: 7 November 2011
We Will Rock You , the Christmas attraction at Edinburgh's Playhouse theatre opens with a charity gala on 1st December. For one night only Queen legend, Brian May will join the regular cast to raise funds for the Mercury Phoenix Trust. The cast incudes Rhydian Roberts, Noel Sullivan, Leon Lopez, Ian Reddington, Ashley J Russell and Jenny Douglas. The gala, taking place on World Aids Day, for which tickets are still available , will also be attended by celebrity supporters of the charity. Speaking about the event Brian May said: “I am really excited to be taking part in the show in Edinburgh, it’s always so much fun and a fantastic atmosphere and to know that we’ll be raising money for the Mercury Phoenix Trust is the icing on the cake.’
