Omid Djalili Has Dates at Palace and PhilhamonicDate: 13 January 2012 The award winning stand-up comedian, television and movie star Omid Djalili plays two dates in the North West region later ths month.
He is back with a brand new show Tour of Duty which promises to look at everything from his background, his movie choices - including The Infidel which was well received and Sex and the City 2 which was not. Djalili is the winner of the Time Out Award for Best Stand Up and the EMMA Award. He also won the Best Actor Award at the Turin Film Festival, for his lead performance in The Infidel, won the previous year by Bill Murray.
This is the Anglo-Iranian's first tour in three years. Since this last tour, Djalili has appeared in two series of his own BBC One show, played Fagin in the West End version of Oliver! and starred in the movie The Infidel, written by David Baddiel.
Omid Djalili plays the Palace Theatre, Manchester on 21 January and the Liverpool Philharmonic on 22 January.
