Milkshake at the Lowry and Empire!

Date: 17 August 2009

Children’s television programme strand Milkshake is being taken on a UK tour as a theatre performance these next few weeks.

With a selection of sing-along songs and dance routines, the production is designed to give young children the perfect introduction to live music, theatre and their very first concert.

Milkshake! Live My First Concert – inspired by Channel Five’s popular programme strand – visits The Lowry in Manchester before a visit to the Liverpool Empire in September.

Fifi and Bumble from Fifi and the Flowertots, Peppa and George from Peppa Pig, Noddy and Tessie Bear from Make Way for Noddy, Mr. Bump and Little Miss Daredevil from The Mr. Men Show, Rupert Bear and Little Princess will be joined on stage by Milkshake presenters Naomi Wilkinson, Beth Evans, Jen Pringle and Derek Moran.

The production was a huge success last year following a string of sell-out shows. It visits The Lowry on Friday 28 August until Sunday 30 August and Liverpool Empire on 1-2 September this year.
