Bill Bailey brings laughter to Lowry and PalaceDate: 3 June 2009 The Lowry and the Palace Theatre will be housing one of the country’s top comedians over the next few weeks. Bill Bailey will be performing on the Lowry stage from Tue 9 – Sat 14 June, followed by a stint at the Palace from Mon 16 - Sat 20th June. Bailey, stand-up comedian, musician and actor, is best known for his appearances on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Have I Got News for You, QI and Black Books. Instead of braving the elements performing at festivals this year, Bill has decided to move indoors to the warmth and relative intimacy of the theatre. Coinciding with the 150th anniversary of the publication of Darwin’s seminal work, ‘On the Origin of Species’, Bill continues to provide the masses with his comedic take on the world, showing us all that he really is one of a kind.
