Soul Sister to swing into townDate: 13 July 2012The musical Soul Sister, inspired by the music, life and times of Tina Turner, comes to the Mill Volvo Tyne Theatre on its first tour outside of the West-End. Soul Sister will be adorning our stage on Monday 26 November – Saturday 1 December 2012. This brand new musical features all the classic Tina Turner hits, including: ‘What’s Love Got to Do with It’, ‘Proud Mary’, ‘Private Dancer’, ‘River Deep Mountain High’ and of course ‘Simply The Best’, as well as many more… The story follows the highs and lows, passions and heartbreak, of Ike and Tina as their careers soared and their marriage crumbled. It promises to be full of heart and soul, electrifying chorography, and stunning musical numbers, Soul Sister has been revered by critics and audiences alike and is sure to have you partying the night away.
