Sgt. Pepper’s Show Opens It’s Heart To Salisbury

The Beatles Day Foundation, are inviting local community groups, schools, hospitals and charities to experience the music of the Beatles in a spectacular musical extravaganza at Salisbury City Hall on Friday 19 November, 8pm.

Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Show hits the road once more this winter, bringing one of rock ‘n’ roll’s greatest landmark albums back to life on stage.

Anyone involved with a school, charity, community group or hospital are invited to apply for tickets for their organisation by emailing MarketingATCityHall@wiltshire.gov.uk no later than Wednesday 17 November. Tickets are to be allocated on a first request basis, and you should remember to include your contact details and the name of your organisation within your email.

£1 from every ticket sold for the show will go directly to The Beatles Day Foundation, of which John Lennon's sister Julia Baird, and The Royle Family’s Ricky Tomlinson are patrons. “The Beatles Day Foundation is a charitable trust that raises money for many worthy causes particularly those improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people” said promoter Chas Cole one of the people behind the Beatles Day Foundation “We’d particularly like to offer the young people of Salisbury the chance to come along to show, and introduce a younger generation to the Beatles.”

Featuring some of the best musicians from the Fab Four’s own home town of Liverpool and backed by a spellbinding new light show, original big screen animations and a host of fun surprises, this show is a must for Beatles Fans old and new. The performance of Sgt Pepper’s in its entirety will be followed by an hour of Beatles classics live.
