Dreamboats Tours to Salford and Blackpool

Date: 5 October 2011

Following its success on tour and the West End, new musical Dreamboats and Petticoats returns to the North West in September, stopping at Salford and Blackpool - following a Liverpool last week.

The musical, written by Marks and Gran, the team behind Goodnight Sweetheart, Birds Of A Feather and Shine On Harvey Moon, takes you back to a time when each passing week brought another classic track. The show features songs from Roy Orbison, The Shadows, Eddie Cochran, Billy Fury, Chuck Berry and many more and is based on the successful compilation albums of the same name.

This 1961 set show has toured the UK and hit the West End at the Savoy Theatre, prior to the opening of hit Broadway transfer Legally Blonde. It proved to be so popular that it transfered the Playhouse in London and current stars Des O'Connor.

This musical features the hits “Lets Dance”, “To Know Him Is To Love Him”, “Shaking All Over” and many more  from music’s golden era.

Dreamboats and Petticoats runs at the Lowry from 31 October - 5 November and the Blackpool Grand from 23 - 28 January, 2012.
