Silver Jubilee National Tour for Rocky Horror
Date: 13 March 1998

Stage and film classic The Rocky Horror Show, unleashed in 1973 by creator Richard O'Brien, will be kicking off on a new UK tour later this month. Australian soap and pop star Jason Donovan stars as sex-mad transvestite Frank n' Furter in the Silver Jubilee production which opens at the Birmingham Rep on 24 March before embarking on a nine-months, 16-cities tour across the country. The 'rock and roll musical' features 18 hits - including Time Warp, Sweet Transvestite, Dammit Janet and Going Home - and invites some of the most unruly audience participation known in theatre.
