Damn Yankees' Second West End Run

Damn Yankees, the Faustian Broadway baseball musical starring Jerry Lewis, has cancelled its second West End engagement. Following a successful limited run at the Adelphi Theatre earlier this year, the show was scheduled to transfer to the Victoria Palace . The re-opening was repeatedly postponed and the venue changed earlier this month to the smaller Savoy Theatre. But producers have now confirmed to What's on Stage that the show has in fact been cancelled. No explanation has yet been given.
