Ideal Husband Wins New West End Run
Date: 7 October 1997

Peter Hall's acclaimed production of Wilde's An Ideal Husband, will continue its West End run when it transfers to the Gielgud Theatre next Tuesday following its limited 11-week run at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. The production has also travelled to Broadway where it received a positive reception following an earlier West End engagment. The principal cast, headed by Martin Shaw, Kate O'Mara and Simon Ward, will remain.
