Robert Lindsay will return to the role of Scrooge this Christmas, when Alan Menken's A Christmas Carol plays two dates at the Lyceum in London's West End this Christmas.
After sold-out performances last year, London Musical Theatre Orchestra will again present their concert version of Menken's musical.
Based on Charles Dickens' festive classic, A Christmas Carol has music by Menken (Aladdin, The Little Mermaid), lyrics by Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime), and a book by Ahrens and Mike Ockrent.
Last year's cast included Carrie Hope Fletcher, Giovanna Fletcher and Hugh Maynard, but there is no word yet as to whether they will return this year.
LMTO is an orchestra dedicated to musical theatre. The group was founded in June 2015 and has gone on to play concert versions of shows including Mack and Mabel, Candide and Honeymoon in Vegas, at venues across the capital from the Palladium to Cadogan Hall.
A Christmas Carol will play the Lyceum Theatre, London on 11 and 18 December 2017.
