The cast of Jamie Lloyd's's production of Apologia celebrated the show's opening in the West End last night.

The Good Wife and Grease star Stockard Channing leads the cast along with Laura Carmichael and Freema Agyeman in Alexi Kaye Campbell's play.

The piece looks at a strong Marxist matriarch and her family who come together over a disastrous dinner party. It first ran at the Bush Theatre in 2009.

Ian Hislop, Simon Callow and more joined the cast for the first night at Trafalgar Studios.

Apologia runs at the Trafalgar Studios until 18 November.
